Having always adored Vinyl Sleeve Artwork, we were delighted to collaborate last year with Fashion Director, Filippo La Bruna of Riders-Moda on a project to re-create Vintage and not so vintage sleeve Artwork as a fashion Project. I came in at the tail end of an era , when CD was now quickly progressing to become the uniform standard and spent ten years working on this mocked down format, many designers grumbling about the lost opportunities to crete works of “Art” . In fact this discussion has once again been brought forth into the limelight, with Creative Review dedicating a whole issue to Music design, looking at the advancement into new media within the industry . We were very proud to have the opportunity to showcase this work last week @ The Pitti Uomo trade show in Florence which attracts more than 30,000 visitors from the fashion industry .
